CRITICAL MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: HairTrack is an observational habit-tracking software tool and educational reference. It is NOT a medical device, clinical diagnostic aid, or telemedicine platform. HairTrack does NOT diagnose, treat, prevent, cure, or manage any medical disorder, pathology, or disease (including, but not limited to, androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, trichotillomania, scarring alopecia, or nutritional deficiencies). Never rely on HairTrack observations in lieu of clinical care from a board-certified dermatologist or medical doctor.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the HairTrack mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.

2. Eligibility

HairTrack is intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Personal & Observational Nature of the Application

HairTrack allows you to record personal observations regarding daily self-care habits, hair shedding ratings, scalp sensations, and visual progress photos:

All assessments (e.g. Low, Moderate, High shedding) are subjective self-observations recorded by you.
Educational content in the Learn section represents general wellness hygiene principles, not individualized medical advice or therapeutic regimens.
No food, supplement, oil, topical product, or habit mentioned in HairTrack is guaranteed or claimed to halt shedding, stimulate regrowth, or cure hair loss.

4. User Data & Local Device Responsibility

HairTrack stores all data on your local device. You acknowledge and agree that:

Because we do not store your data on external cloud servers, we cannot restore or recover lost data if your device is damaged, lost, wiped, or uninstalled.
You are responsible for securing your physical device, maintaining backups, and preventing unauthorized access to your device.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or circumvent security measures (including FLAG_SECURE) within the application, nor use the application for any unlawful purpose.

6. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability

HairTrack is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Under no circumstances shall the developer, contributors, or distributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the application.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the application following the posting of revised terms indicates your acceptance of those revisions.
