Key Guarantee: Reiki Healing operates on an offline-first architecture. We do not store your data on external cloud servers, meaning you have instantaneous, permanent control to delete 100% of your records directly on your device at any moment without delay.

1. Types of Data Stored by Reiki Healing

All data created during your practice is stored exclusively on your device in local SQLite tables and Android shared preferences:

  • Practice History: Timestamps, duration, and completed hand positions.
  • Meditation Logs: Meditative session records.
  • Journal Entries: Personal reflection notes recorded after sessions.
  • Favorites & Custom Routines: Custom timers created in the Routine Builder.
  • Milestone Achievements: On-device streak tracking and achievement badges.
  • User Preferences: Theme selection, interval bell sound, volume, and reminder time.

2. How to Delete Your Data Instantly (In-App)

You do not need to wait for developer processing to erase your data. You can delete all your records permanently within the application:

  1. Open the Reiki Healing application on your Android device.
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll down to the Data Management section.
  4. Choose your desired deletion scope:
    • Clear Practice History: Deletes all session and meditation logs while preserving your favorite custom routines and settings.
    • Reset All Progress & App Data: Permanently erases all tables, deletes custom routines, resets achievements, and returns the app to a fresh installation state.
  5. Confirm your choice in the confirmation dialog. Deletion occurs immediately.

3. Alternative Device-Level Deletion

You can also delete all app data using standard Android operating system controls:

  • Option A: Clear App Storage: Open Android Settings → Apps → Reiki Healing → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage.
  • Option B: Uninstall the App: Uninstalling Reiki Healing from your Android device permanently destroys the app's sandboxed SQLite database file (reikihealing.db) and all preference files.

4. Requesting Data Verification via Developer

Because we maintain no remote server infrastructure, user accounts, or central databases, we hold no off-device copies of your information. There is no remote account to delete.
