This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is handled, collected, stored, retained, and deleted when you use our mobile application.
Key Privacy Commitment: PCOS Tracker: Cycle & Health is an offline-first, privacy-focused application. We do not store, upload, transmit, or process your personal health, menstrual cycle, or PCOS symptom data on developer cloud servers. All personal health data remains exclusively on your local device under your complete control.

1. Information We Collect and Process
The App only processes data that you explicitly choose to record within the app for wellness tracking purposes:
- Menstrual Cycle & Period Data: Cycle start dates, period flow intensity (spotting, light, medium, heavy), cycle lengths, and period notes.
- PCOS & Health Symptoms: Daily logged symptoms such as cramps, bloating, fatigue, acne, hirsutism/hair thinning, mood variations, and custom symptom observations.
- Lifestyle & Wellness Metrics: Daily tracking records including sleep duration, hydration/water intake, exercise/movement minutes, and personal wellness notes.
- Local Profile & Settings: Non-identifying setup details (average cycle baseline length, reminder preferences, theme settings).
- Exported Health Reports: If you use the PDF export feature to share cycle reports with your doctor, the document is generated locally on your device storage. We never receive or access these PDF reports.
2. Device Storage & Data Processing
All cycle entries, symptom logs, and user configurations are stored locally within the application's isolated sandboxed storage (Hive / SharedPreferences). No health or cycle tracking data is ever transmitted to remote databases, external analytics platforms, or third-party advertisers.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
The App does not sell, rent, or trade your personal health data to data brokers, advertising networks, or third parties.
The App uses standard Google Play Services solely for core Android operating system compatibility, app performance diagnostics, and system font rendering. No sensitive health or cycle data is shared with Google Play Services.
4. Health and Sensitive Data Protection
In adherence to Google Play's Health Apps Policy and User Data Policy:
- We never use sensitive health data for advertising, marketing, or commercial profiling purposes.
- All personal health records stay strictly sandboxed on the user's mobile device.
- We do not require user accounts or cloud registrations to use the tracking functions of the application.
5. Data Retention Policy
- Zero Server-Side Retention: Because we do not run external user tracking servers, we retain 0 bytes of your personal cycle, symptom, or health data on external servers.
- Local Device Retention: Your tracked data is stored on your local device for as long as the application remains installed, or until you choose to erase it.
- App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data, databases, and cached reports from your device.
6. Data Deletion and User Rights
You have full ownership and total control over your health information. You can delete your data at any time through:
- In-App Clearing / Reset: Delete individual cycle entries or symptom logs directly within the App's history views.
- Device Storage Clear: Go to device Settings > Apps > PCOS Tracker: Cycle & Health > Storage & Cache > Clear Storage to instantly erase all data.
- Uninstall: Removing the application permanently purges all local databases.

7. Children's Privacy
Our App is intended for individuals of reproductive age and is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
